Beta testers for BoxViewer (Android) wanted!
BoxViewer is an open-source app for openSenseMap, a global open-data platform for environmental sensor networks and DIY weather stations (senseBoxes).
BoxViewer enables you to monitor weather data in real time, and configure home-screen widgets.

I'm currently working on an Android app to conveniently display environmental data from openSenseMap (https://opensensemap.org), because the only app I know of unfortunately no longer works on current Android versions.
Would anyone like to test the alpha version?

Ich versuche mich gerade an einer Android-App für die komfortable Darstellung von Umweltdaten aus der openSenseMap (https://opensensemap.org), weil die einzig mir bekannte App auf aktuellen Android-Versionen leider nicht mehr funktioniert.
Hat jemand Lust, die Alpha-Version zu testen?

Particulate matter (PM2.5) peak measured in our house on New Year's Eve. The PM2.5 peak is due to the fireworks ignited every year during this time in the Netherlands.

Schade, dass @SensorCommunity die #Luftdaten nicht mehr an @opensensemap überträgt.
Muss wohl eine Firmwareupdate her, weil #Opensensemap was an den Zertifikaten geändert hat. Seit Monaten ziemliche viele Stationen offline.

Moin aus dem ICE. Ich bin auf dem Weg nach #Speyer. Dort sollen die Bürger mit meiner Hilfe morgen #Sensebox en bauen und via #ttn die Daten einsammeln, erfassen und dann visualieren auf der #opensensemap. Eine coole Aktion der Stadt und der Stadtwerke zum Thema #citizenscience. Und darüber freue ich mich sehr. Wer aber schon mal mit Laien so komplexe Sensoriken gebaut hat, der weiß, dass ich Grund zur Nervosität habe :-) Aber was tut man als Kieler nicht alles für die #smartcityspeyer.

Hard to believe that some of my :python: #Python 📦 packages on #PyPI are supposed to have 5-digit download figures 😲

Wir haben ein @[email protected] mit der Firmware von @[email protected] in Betrieb genommen. Die #DIY Messstation erfasst aktuell die #Feinstaubbelastung. The #senseBox:home is a modular do-it-yourself #DIY environmental sensor station. It can connect to the Internet via LAN, WLAN or #LoRa and publish data on the #openSenseMaP, which is powered by #OpenStreetMap: https://sensebox.de/en/products. An :edu version also exists for schools and educational institutions.
