Does anyone happen to know if there's an easy way to get #emacs's
nov.elpackage to display text using the #OpenDyslexic font? I was hoping there was a customization variable, but it seems not.Perhaps I could run it in a terminal editor and change the terminal's font, but then I'd lose things like images.
I can hack something together if I really need to, I'd just rather not if there's a simpler solution available.

Ever since I saw @klemensstrasser have support for the OpenDyslexic font in @studysnacksapp I’ve been meaning to do the same.
I was really worried about breaking the layout of some Views.
Seeing @hidde do it made me decide to just start.

@gemeinsamhier @mxk Ich habe eine Legasthenikerin im Freundeskreis, die diese Schrift sehr schätzt. Mit anderen Schriften verrutscht sie leicht zwischen den Zeilen, mit #OpenDyslexic passiert ihr das nicht.

Oh! It works! My Sony PRS-300 displays the converted epub of "A Voyage To Arcturus" with the embedded OpenDyslexic font. Don't need the font adjusted to the "normal larger baseline" I normally do with other fonts when using #OpenDyslexic, so I need to fine-tune that now...
I have the PRS+ rom on it. Here are some screenshots of two font sizes of OpenDyslexic displaying on it. -

My "#speedReading" basically brings me up to "normal fast" since I'm a slow reader. I am considering seeing if I can get #Calibre to embed the #OpenDyslexic #font since that also improves reading speeds...

Cuginetto di 10 anni con #dislessia (già seguito da qualche anno da logopedista) che inizierà a usare un computer portatile.
Oltre ai #font creati appositamente per rendere il testo meglio leggibile (#OpenDyslexic per citarne uno), ci sono accorgimenti particolari da seguire per rendere migliore il suo approccio a questo tipo di tecnologia?
Giochi fatti bene?

We used #Opendyslexic #font but I wonder how much good it really does. However, I do find it very legible indeed!

Man lernt nie aus. Es existiert eine wissenschaftlich evaluierte Schriftart namens #OpenDyslexic, die Menschen mit #Legasthenie das Lesen erleichtern kann. Zumindest funktioniert das im Englischen. https://opendyslexic.org/
