On day one of Pwn2Own Ireland 2026, researchers reported 32 new security flaws across 21 demonstrations and won a total of $388,500.

The tested products included Samsung devices, OpenAI Codex, AI services and smart devices.

Some demonstrations combined newly found issues with previously known ones.

These were tests conducted in the contest; the report does not describe attacks on real users.
