To facilitate the use of this tool the homepage and the introduction have just been updated, by @simon (myself, the author of this publication).
Open models education remains a very emerging topic which is generally conducted in silos: open science to researchers, open software to computer scientists, open education to teachers... Without providing a global picture of these phenomena, these various parties may even be unaware of each other's existence.
The knowledge base tries to answer this gap and connect openness movements. It can have multiple interests, at first because open models share some common laws and because these dynamics are complementary by articulating with each other!
An openly available resource to be able « to train people, a basis to create educational resources adapted to the multiplicity of contexts, a means to empower a network of trainers and specialists and a way to gather research in order to follow the state of the art in these areas. »
Education on open models can be a really broad topic targeting a variety of audiences, the intent with the base is at first to provide a general culture and then redirect to more specialized actors for advanced training.
A way to initiate people to these phenomena and then let them dive deeper depending on their needs.
Whether you're new to these movements or already well-versed in them but want to understand openness in other domains, this resource might be of interest to you. Or for any organization/university/school working around digital literacy!

Keuzehulp Open Publiceren volledig vernieuwd
De online keuzehulp voor het open publiceren van overheidsinformatie en -data is volledig vernieuwd. De keuzehulp Open Publiceren is een praktisch instrument voor het kiezen van het juiste bestandsformaat of de beste documentstandaard om open en leveranciersonafhankelijk te publiceren.
Aan de hand van een serie korte vragen ontvang je advies. Dit advies volgt hierbij wet- en regelgeving. Het helpt ook bij het vindbaar, toegankelijk, uitwisselbaar en herbruikbaar publiceren van informatie.
Nieuwe versie voor de keuzehulp
De vorige versie van Open Publiceren was een aantal jaar oud en sloot niet helemaal meer aan bij de huidige tijd. Daarom besloten Open State Foundation en Forum Standaardisatie de keuzehulp volledig te vernieuwen. De nieuwe versie van de keuzehulp is te raadplegen vanaf vandaag. En dat is geen toeval, want het is Document Freedom Day 2026.
Open Publiceren is een initiatief van Open State Foundation en Forum Standaardisatie, met advies van het ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijkrelaties, Nationaal Archief, ACOI, RvIHH, developer.overheid.nl, KVAN en Open Nederland. Open Publiceren is onderdeel van het Actiepunt Standaarden van Forum Standaardisatie uit Actieplan Open Overheid 2023-2027.
Open Spreekuur over open en leveranciersonafhankelijk publiceren
Speciaal vanwege de lancering van de vernieuwde keuzehulp is er een Open Spreekuur. Je bent welkom met al je vragen op woensdag 1 april (geen grap), tussen 14.00 en 15.00 uur. Aanmelden is niet nodig.

I'd really love to see an #OpenHardware, #OpenSoftware matrix mixer & DSP processor.
Likewise for modern PA systems, in order for them to be any use, you must rely on a proprietary matrix mixer and DSP processor to process and route the signals from the mixers to the loudspeakers.
While I think this is largely "fine", it would be great to have something for smaller venues and operators who are running older and maybe cobbled together systems. Ditto for up-and-coming speaker system designers.

Честно говоря, я никогда бы не подумал, что буду защищать закрытый проприетарный мессенджер от нападок типа криптошизов, но....
А. Я полагаю, что подход "критики через отрицание" - вредный.
В любом аспекте важно, критикуя, предлагать положительную альтернативу.
Ни телеграм, ни вацап не являются положительной альтернативой Максу, скорее наоборот.Но.
Любой желающий сохранить свое общение втайне имеет минимум три довольно удобных способа это сделать:
1) Если важен только текст - вполне достаточно IRC. Это ОЧЕНЬ старая, крепкая и надежная технология, которая работает на очень тонких каналах связи. К ней написана просто тонна различного софта. Есть возможность поднять собственный сервер и не зависеть ни от кого.
2) Если хочется "современного общения" можно использовать связку XMPP (ака Jabber) с Jitsi. Софта, опять же, много. Поднять свою ноду - можно. Шифрование есть, аж несколько видов.
3) Если хочется "удобно", но пугает необходимость объяснять собеседникам, как настроить шифрование, зачем учетная запись у черта на куличиках - ваш вариант Delta Chat. Просто, удобно, шифровано и через почту. Опять же, есть возможность самостоятельно настроить себе сервер. А можно и не настраивать.
ЭТО конструктив. А когда идут вопли, что "вот макс нитакой, он с трубой" - это не конструктив.
Б. Вокруг Макса выросла уже тонна мифов.
И то, что это частный мессенджер (нет, 57% голосов по акциям в руках у компаний, которыми владеет государство, в совете директоров 60% личного состава - госкорпораты). И то, что его насильно заставляют устанавливать (нет, никто не ловит вас на улице и не ставит макс на телефон, вы вольны его не ставить так же, как вольны НЕ пользоваться госуслугами и банками). И то, что Макс шпионит за пользователями (это не вся правда, т.к. шпионят и Вацап, и ТГ и еще миллион программ, но почему-то всем важно, что именно Макс это делает). И то, что Макс дырявый, как решето (на самом деле пока он не сильно отличается от остальных в этом отношении, опыт ТамТам, похоже, учли). Короче, что душе угодно.
С моей точки зрения, подобные мифы продолжают путать обычного человека и закрывать собою суть проблемы.
Макс - государственный инструмент коммуникации с гражданами. Который государством будет использоваться в своих целях. А поскольку государство у нас буржуазное, то цели государства совпадают с целями правящего класса - буржуазии. Т.е. через Макс за нами будут наблюдать владельцы крупного российского капитала, опосредованно, конечно.
Это не плохо и не хорошо - это объективная реальность, которую просто надо понять и признать. За условными немцами-американцами или китайцами точно так же следят свои государства через свои мессенджеры. Это повсеместная практика.
И бороться с ней (если таковая цель таки стоит) надо тоже повсеместно. А не "макс говно, ставьте Телеграм". Так - никакого проку не будет.
