I got #Ooblets on Epic back in 2020. But then I got a Steam Deck in 2022, and then Ooblets launched on Steam last year, and I knew I wanted to purchase it again. I realise I can play Epic games on my Steam Deck, that’s not the point. Besides, I love the achievements. After we got back from the hospital I saw the Winter Sale, and I repurchased it. I've been playing that a lot, like a LOT. Currently at 63.5 hours. ❤️

I inadvertently triggered the end game in #Ooblets with several side quests hanging! I’ve enjoyed it, and will definitely play again, but for today have moved along to #CozyGrove, which is adorable so far. It doesn’t compare to #Spiritfarer for complex story about grief and death, but it’s fun and engaging.

All of these were on sale earlier this year and appear on multiple platforms. I’m playing on a #NintendoSwitch

Got to start the new Zelda this afternoon. Funny, after a few months of only playing no-camera-control cozy games on console, how my initial reaction is:

You mean I have to use the other joy stick, too!? That’s so much work!!

The ironic bit is that I was regularly annoyed that I couldn’t control the camera in Ooblets. I checked multiple times to confirm it wasn’t an option in settings. 😅

So, if I buy a game in the Epic Games store, can I download and install just the game, or do I have to install some general Epic Games software that is required to download and/or start games bought there, and that spies on how much I play, like with Steam?

I played #WoW too many years ago now. Gave up #FFXIV due to the monthly fee versus how I was able to play. That is an amazing game though.

Currently my wife, adult child living at home, and me all play #PokemonGo as Instinct.

Have yet to play #Ooblets. Seems like a lot of fun though.
