My colleague Abderrahim is giving an update on the State of #GNOMEOS at #GUADEC2026 right now.

An interesting insight is that this #freedesktop-sdk based OS is implementing bleeding-edge upstream features first ( not just @gnome stuff ) and testing them here. #systemd, #bootc, #oo7 ... Etc are some examples. Also you can install it in some phones! Give it a try!

There's another Bond movie on, #Spectre.

The action sequences are superb.

While I'm not thrilled with Daniel Craig, he's still miles better than Roger Moore (IMO), and I can tolerate his face. Meaning I don't want to slap his face every time I see it, like I do Moore.

I'd put Craig about on par with the plank that was Lazenby.

Goodbye Deutschland is apparently not on tonight. We flipped to Zoolander, but she was quickly lost. TBF, the movie makes little sense. 😜

Anyway, through elimination and default, we end up at #ForYourEyesOnly, except the German title is In Tötlicher Mission, and I can never remember which one it is without looking at the TV guide.

I keep mixing it up with #TheSpyWhoLovedMe or #LiveAndLetDie.

Either way, it's one of the shittier/rapier Bond flicks.
