Dicen que, cuando la noche cae cerca de las vías del tren, hay un sonido que no debería existir.
No son pasos.
No es el viento.
Es un teke… teke… seco, insistente, cada vez más cerca.

Teke-Teke fue una joven. Eso es lo único seguro.
Una estudiante que cayó a las vías —nadie se pone de acuerdo en si fue un accidente, una broma cruel o el final de un acoso que nadie quiso ver—. El tren no se detuvo. Su cuerpo quedó partido en dos. La sangre tampoco.

Desde entonces, su rencor camina… o mejor dicho, se arrastra.

Sin piernas, pero más rápida que cualquier persona viva, aparece en estaciones, puentes y callejones donde la luz duda. Avanza golpeando el suelo con codos y manos, produciendo ese sonido que da nombre a la maldición. Si la oyes, ya es tarde. Si la ves, corres… pero nunca lo suficiente.

A quienes alcanza, les regala su mismo final.
Porque el dolor, cuando no se apaga, se replica.

Algunos la llaman Teke-Teke.
Otros susurran otro nombre: Kashima Reiko.
Dicen que se aparece en los baños y pregunta con voz hueca:
—¿Dónde están mis piernas?

Responder mal es sellar tu destino.

No es solo una historia para asustar niños.
Es una advertencia vestida de fantasma:
hay heridas que, cuando nadie escucha, regresan caminando… o arrastrándose.

Si esta noche escuchas un teke… teke…
no mires atrás.
No preguntes.
Y, sobre todo, no creas que las leyendas se quedan quietas.

Toshio is dead but he is also a kid. He kills humans but loves his #cat and plays with toys.

For those who didn't see the films, Toshio is a character from #TheGrudge #Ju-on He is drowned in a bathtub and returns to haunt/kill anyone who steps into his house. In Japanese #folklore, this type of spirit is called #yurei but more appropriately, #Onryo. I have made the case that, while his mother normally gets the title onryo, it is Toshio who was the most wronged (unjustly murdered) so Toshio should be the main focus of the story.
