If I've posted about this before, please accept my apologies and scroll down... for those of you who are still with me hear me out when i tell you that I wish Hyeju had persevered with the stage name Olivia Hye. It had a Korean woman meets Shakespearean heroine romance to it that i found appealing.
Once I would have said that she was my Loona bias, but then I read something about her being offhand with a fan during a fan call. Thinking back , I must ask myself who knows what really happened.
Anyway, I still love "Egoist", still think she is a great performer, and still think she is a fine figure of a woman.
Speaking of Loona stage names, I wish one of the yyxy girls had taken up Jaden Jeong's suggestion of "Adam".
In addition to taking pleasure with the pairing with "Yves", I would have been delighted to have seen the girly Go Won introduced with such a "masculine" name. I am always pleased to see women with traditionally male names like James, Michael, or Charles.

Yves looks rather good in spectacles here.
Yves is the stage name of kpop idol and sometime Loona member Ha Sooyoung.
In the past people have been critical of the stage name on the grounds of Yves being a given name for males in French.
That criticism strikes me as misguided. In the first place, the challenge to rigid gender markings and the homophony with the English "Eve" belong to the lore of Loona.
In addition, I can't be the only person who is delighted to come across beautiful women with names like James, Charles, Michael, Yves....
