A grumpy architect who can veto her partnership drives four hours up a mountain to tell her no in person. Then a rockslide shuts the road for sixteen days, and there's one cabin, one bed, and he takes the door off.

Apriltober 12&13: Only One Bed continues, with actual bed shortage (finally), sweet dreams of a dog, and a new roommate who is ignoring the bed situation. Gwin does not bite Frye, but he does pinch him.

Two women, only one bed, ...and a thousand ways to pretend it’s not a big deal at all.
Here are my sapphic romances that include an "only one bed" scene:

It's Trope Tuesday, so I'm sharing the tropes you can find in my new sapphic romance Enemies by Nature.

There's also a "not-so-fake kiss" and a "heating pad situation," but I'm not sure these are official tropes! 🤣

Today was an audio recording day! Spouse took the kiddos to the zoo, and I covered up all the windows and sound sources in the attic so I could record a charming sapphic SF stowaway/only one bed space romance for Escape Pod. Here's my little audio nest while I was editing.

Since I ribbed the drama for this during an earlier episode; this _is_ the most logical solution to the Only One Bed problem here. When Ah Shu moves in she and Yuan Mo have known each other for about three days and were on distant friend level - not ready to be physically close even in a modest and innocent way.

I'm a huge fan of the "only one bed" trope both as a reader and a writer--it's like forced proximity at its most delicious!

So I just couldn't resist putting Crowning Courtship, with all its fake-relationship, traveling together, one-bed goodness into this tropetastic book fair. I hope you find something new to enjoy!

15. What's your favourite trope?
#OnlyOneBed
Arguing about who's going to sleep on the couch/floor, then gingerly getting into the same bed and carefully avoiding touching each other. Then waking up wound around each other, alarmed by inconvenient morning wood & trying to hide it. But the sleeping person has their neck nuzzled into the morning-wood person's neck and is being very tempting in the way they shift and moan and maybe they have morning wood too oh dear.

Hey, #Romancelandia! Time for an #introduction!

I'm Molly Segal Rookwood, a #Jewish #freelance #editor based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I'm also a #RomanceWriter nearing the end of my own #romance novel!

In my book, a #JaneAusten scholar and a dance teacher get set up on Yom Kippur and start #FakeDating to appease their matchmaking families. It features Jewish family drama, giant nerds, #FriendsToLovers, and #OnlyOneBed.

Will Miri and David's plan work out, or will emotions get in the way?
