  1. Many of us still treat privacy as a personal habit: stronger passwords, cleaner settings, fewer things shared.

But privacy is also about power: who gets to know, classify, predict, influence, and decide what happens next.

The fight for privacy is a fight for rights.

  2. 《The fight against cyberbullying is not about protecting any single individual; it is about safeguarding all of us.》

How pathetic does one have to be to bully others online or irl?!

  3. I'm seeing a lot of misinformation going around about Instagram losing end-to-end encryption (E2EE).

People seem to think all their chats were previously secure, and now, because of this change, they're insecure. That's inaccurate.

Unless you'd gone out of your way to enable E2EE (which disabled a lot of Instagram's messaging features), your messages were always insecure. Nothing has changed, except that you no longer have the option to go E2EE-secure.

  4. Leaving digital breadcrumbs of fake info online? 🤔 Not the Jedi mind trick you were hoping for! 🙄 This article's advice is like trying to hide from the Empire with a paper bag over your head. Good luck with that. 🛸

  5. Google's partner ad opt-out exists because a judge said so: Google launched an opt-out for personalized ads on partner sites, but researchers say it was rushed under a settlement deadline and lacks full integration. ppc.land/googles-partner-ad-op #GoogleAds #OnlinePrivacy #AdOptOut #DigitalMarketing #DataProtection

  6. 🚫🤡 Ah, the internet's equivalent of a "Do Not Enter" sign: a digital bouncer rejecting you like an expired coupon. Apparently, merely existing can trip the overzealous security alarms of our oh-so-protective overlords. Just what we needed, another layer of #bureaucracy in accessing mediocre content. 🙄🔒

  7. Oh, look! Another riveting piece on transgender homicides, hidden behind the glorious barrier of #JavaScript and #cookies 🍪🔒. Because, naturally, the data on crimes can't be accessed without first proving you're not a bot 🦾. Who knew that the key to understanding societal violence was a cookie acceptance button? 🤦‍♂️

  8. Ah yes, the classic existential crisis of the 21st century: enabling #JavaScript like a mindless drone 🤖 and pondering the deep philosophical implications of #cookies 🍪. Because apparently, the biggest threat to our free will is clicking "accept" when all we wanted was to read an article 🙄.

  9. This Is What a Personal Surveillance System Actually Looks Like

You stop thinking of it as surveillance. It becomes “the system.” Just part of how things run.
