Currently sitting in the Atlas bar in Singapore. OMG this place is incredible. It may well have been a very hot and sweaty 20 minute walk in midday sun, but my goodness was it worth it!!!

Nearly there, only one more sea plane flight to get to our destination...
But in the meantime, here's a logo I've not seen in person in probably 3 decades... I thought they'd gone under, TBQH. Clearly not!

Long-arsed flight. Not the comfiest of seats. Not the most awesome of service.
But at least the drinks and snacks are unlimited and free... oh, and there's free WiFi too..

PSA: It’s good to have a copy of your infant’s birth certificate when traveling. We were challenged at the airline checkin desk, seems it’s a soft requirement but YMMV. Thankfully we had a digital copy handy.

The camera and lens made it unscathed. Whew. The rest is the glass was in my backpack. WHEW!

We ran into a longtime ground ops friend who at 6 AM made a big deal about the kiddo’s first flight. This airline is always so personable.

We thought we would be smart and the wife would kick me out at the curb with the baby, stroller, and bags to check while she parked. I grabbed the wrong bag and just checked about $6K worth of camera gear. Meant to carry that one with me! First big mistake of the trip, and it’s just getting started 😅 #travel #havebabywilltravel #airtravel #onholiday

It turns out the most efficient way to definitively take a break from work is to go on holiday somewhere with terrible mobile reception and very shaky WiFi.
This is a problem when there was "one last thing you need to finish" while #OnHoliday though, which is why I'm walking up a hill at 7.30am...
