They just nailed one of the hardest tasks in networking: a "big bang" PoP migration.
➡️ What: Moved our main PoP (40+ customers) to a new datacenter. ➡️ How Fast: 10 hours, start to finish. ➡️ How Efficient: 8 racks ➡️ 2 racks. ➡️ The Result: "Super smooth" cutover for customers.
Look at that new cabling! 👇 This is expert-level work from a passionate team. So impressed!

@mergesort @caseynewton I think back to #OneTeam 2018 and the panel session with journalists where they all basically said they were addicted to Twitter and hated themselves for it but knowingly admitted they wouldn’t be able to give it up. I wish there was a recording to watch this session again. Someone within Twitter probably has it.

Though not ideal, requiring meetings to be held in the restroom was unfortunately necessary, and is wholly within the law.
And if, while the meetings were underway, the janitorial staff happened to lock the restroom for the night, they were simply doing their jobs with care. #OneTeam

There's something poetic about Twitter's now ex-Chief Privacy Officer, @Damokieran, scrubbing and deleting all of his tweets upon resigning.
Looks like maybe he had a script to always delete old tweets, i'm not sure.

@kelvinnewman @simoncox The problem I expect (and it feels like it's already visible to some extent) is that the quality will go downhill significantly given the change? lack? of moderation / trust & safety work. What use is a social network that still works if the people replying are mostly jerks?
Take a look at some of the #OneTeam threads on Twitter, so many jerks & trolls. And with that, advertising & users are going to jump or slow.
