I wanted to know the scale of Starships in #OPR #OnePageRules #Grimdark Watfleets, and aha, we have a picture so I started this bullshit.
Ok so we know from the Warfleets Planetary Control rules that only Light ships can land on planets so anything landing is probably a light ship. We have a group of little humans standing more or less directly below that ship and they are about 10 pixels tall and lets call that person 5”10 or 178cm for no real reason. The ship is 242 pixels tall, and it looks to be roughly half as wide as it is tall. This is excluding superstructures like the shrine on the back just the actual hull and bulk, not including the wings either. That gives us a little to work with, but its a bit tricky because the perspective is off. So lets go with that being like 140 feet tall (43 meters) and then half that in width easy enough, but length is a bit vibes but its pretty long. I’d say about 475 feet (145 meters) going by the other measuring as trying to guess what the angle looks like? I’m not super sure on this but feels ok. Like its about 3 times longer than it is tall, but it might be 4 times but that is just my eye doing what it can here. So using the official opr models the light ship STL file (I’m using marauders because they are boxy and easy to measure) its something like 55mm long in the slicer. So 55mm might be 145m. uh lets say like 1mm in the stl is like 2.64m so that means a medium at 70mm long is 184m long and then a cruiser is 106mm long so… like 280 meters which puts at about the same length as the USS New Jersey, a real life sea going battleship. So this checks out alright. Anyway so if the base assumption works out the scale of Warships in OPR are comparable to the size of present day ships although probably a little bigger if you want to assume a battleship is longer than a cruiser but OPR doesn’t really make the distinction.

Ok I did this to prove I could do it just using the supplied shitty pdf file and now that I’ve done it this was a lot of work and probably not worth it lol

Broken House from #opr Broken Truth terrain set, but made of WOOD. i painfully extracted this from the pdf file that came with the set.
Now this is just bare wood and a bit boring but I’ve also got stickers with the graphics to print and cut.

#OPR #OnePageRules Wargaming wooden laser drawn / cut tokens!
I tweaked the profile slightly to leave little tabs when cutting so the tokens don’t fall down and get gashed by the laser.
A bit niche since you need an H2D or C with a laser for now but Bambu is coming out with a dedicated laser machine the R1 so I assume this will work on that too :blobthumbsup:

I just released ANY QUESTIONS?, my first game. I made it for the One-Page RPG Jam 2026.
One player is the presenter who wants to sell their great project, the others are journalists asking more or less clever questions about it. The dice decide who gets to ask first – but also what kind of question they have to ask.

My big Alien Hives chonkers on the right, with a rapacious beast on the left, and a little psycho grunt for scale.
The tentacle guy is neat because that’s a discontinued model i got from my T3 membership. Printing and assembly was not fun, I had to repair a few tentacle tips with green stuff. I’ll also need to go over these guys with Vallejo plastic putty to fill in some gaps from warping here and there, but nothing serious.
Anyway, those 3 guys are really big models! I didn’t know what i was getting into decided I wanted them lol

My new artillery is complete!! New big guns!
The really big cannon is new in OPR HDF 3.6 so its a little ahead of the curve here heh but I had the model printed for like at least a year and the two smaller guns sat on my shelf for years before finally being based and finished up today. Really pleased with how they turned out.

NEW OPR SCIFI FACTION
Voidspace Stalkers. These are a port from the fantasy Shadow Stalkers, but those models are 100% top shelf some of the best minis out there so I’m pretty pleased to be getting a scifi version of them. An unapologetically evil faction too lol proper grimdark these lads.
