Another one of those days.
On reaching he office, I spent the first 10 minutes in the lavatory washing my shirt due to the ministrations of a seagull.
Hand driers do not dry shirts effectively.
Wet shirt + aircon = 🥶
... and I've just finished clearing up after feeding a mug of coffee to my office laptop. I wonder if it will work any quicker, or still be awake at midnight...?

Today’s news: after work in the morning I decided to get along with cleaning the telescope for OH and swung it around to check the connections - in so doing I managed to knock an entire mug of fresh coffee over the desk and floor in my *tiny* craft room. Now my jeans and socks are in the washing machine, I have done my best to clean the craft room desk, chair, and carpet, and made myself a fresh coffee which I am drinking in the kitchen before anything else goes wrong! 😑 #OneOfThoseDays

Monday: working, updating your WordPress website with a plugin and… For an unclair reason, your content, and personal theme are gone.
Afternoon spent franticly putting everything back where it was. Not annoying at all. No, no, I did not curse and used words of frustration.All because one has, probably, not read a notification “If you proceed, then…”
One must laugh with oneself.
In the end, all is well.

Apparently you can now eat Pillsbury cookie dough right out of the package. And today is definitely a Top 5 Raw Cookie Dough day for me.

Just spent 2hrs restringing a necklace I got for my birthday last month only to find out 3-4 of the beads have narrower holes, so the cord I chose was too thick, and because I went for slightly stretchy cord, I accidentally made it too tight. So I have to start over.
Today's been a fight from the start - #OneOfThoseDays -though mostly against my own health.
Going into #FFXIV for an hour before sleep time. Need to rest my neck from all that looking down at my hands...

Just spent 2hrs restringing a necklace I got for my birthday last month only to find out 3-4 of the beads have narrower holes, so the cord I chose was too thick, and because I went for slightly stretchy cord, I accidentally made it too tight. So I have to start over.

After the food place we ordered at entirely forgot about my mom and I, waiting at an outside table for 30 minutes, and then my mom leaving angry without getting anything, I decided to make entirely too much food for myself at home, followed by ruining it by breaking my spice grinder apart and most of the pepper falling in. I didn't want to waste the food so I ate it. I could basically only taste pepper.

_But in my defence_; the banks have been bitches today, and it was 100% natural fibres - silk/merino/wool! (Retreats hissing into my yarn cupboard.)

I've had #OneOfThoseDays where I should have been able to get stuff done, but I just couldn't structure it, kept getting distracted, other issues crept in and I wound up doing pretty much nothing while all the time having tried. i.e. wasted energy...
And both FF14 and LOTRO are in maintenance so I'm a bit restless now.
Sadly this #FFXIV Fray quote was at the end of an instance, rather than in a cutscene, so apologies for the hack together. But it kinda sums up how I feel.

I've had #OneOfThoseDays where nothing's happened at the time it should have and taken longer than normal.
So I just had a bit of time doing the #LOTRO Anniversary 7-quest daily on my main account and trying to remind myself what's going on with my second (mostly F2P) account.
Caught a beautiful Shire dusk in the process.

Me being a moron for a moment and didn't realize I made a recursive sync folder that would sync both of my phones contents together, but I nested one of the folders so it made continual copies of all my pictures and videos. Really makes sense why it took forever for Synching to finish and Nextcloud to have duplicate conflicts on one device. :omya_gcp: :ablobderpy:
Everything is backed up for sure though on 2 other personal devices.

Apparently it's one of those days for me...
Was making myself a sandwich, wanted mayo on it. Mayo refused to come out of the bottle, so I closed it, held it upside down and shook it HARD.
Lid opened, and a huge amount of mayo splattered on the kitchen floor...
And that before I had any food *sigh*
Guess "mop kitchen" will have to be added to today's tasks, whether I want to or not

I'm so dozy today I tipped over half my soup onto the sofa.
Thankfully it was a black bean soup so thick and easy to scrape up, and also it didn't contain any tumeric!
I am however still quite hungry since I lost half my lunch 🤦♀️

Well today feels like a write off.
Sacrificed lunch hour to come home from the office because I was too paranoid I'd left the window open and the cat would get out (I hadn't). Then, once home I somehow got locked out my work MS 365 accounts because of the new MFA for some new stress. Also the cat decided to meow at me all afternoon for no apparent reason.
I have achieved very little.
