🧪 Cohort Update from Côte d’Ivoire
Final samples from >1,000 participants and their livestock are now at our partner lab at CHU Bouaké for analysis and long-term storage, while subsamples are being transferred to Germany as backup.
Study results are being communicated back to the participants in the local communities. 🤝🌍

Our team is now on the ground in Taï and field activities have begun: participant recruitment and small mammal sampling are underway, the field lab is operational. A stakeholder workshop reinforced local engagement in zoonotic disease prevention — already covered by the Ivorian press.
