One good thing Thursday:
I drove for the first time in over a year this week. Twice actually. Absolutely no pain and no problem. So happy! Next test is driving my truck. -
Posting one good thing each day is proving difficult (which I guess is the point, the more you do it the more you're aware of the positive things). Today I'm incredibly grateful for the aircon in the boat (solar powered so no emissions). It's turning what would otherwise be an oven into a comfortable living and working space. Outside temperature right now is 29.2 (Celsius), inside its a much more comfortable 26.4. All thanks to my amazing wife @natz_b who suggested we get on in April!

Today was the culmination of weeks of planning and preparation by my amazing wife, and thanks to her and the amazing volunteers today the Buckden Repair Café was successful in repairing around 50 items, keeping them out of landfill, saving people money and in some cases preserving something of great sentimental or emotional value. The forces of capitalism and neoliberalism may be strong, but they cannot beat us and we will build something better from the parts. #onegoodthingtoday #positivevibes #repaircafe

Trying something out, making sure I post something positive each day, because there is good stuff happening most of the time, and we do not have the luxury of despair. Today: my Mastodon client. It's @phanpy , it's amazing, I run it in the browser on desktop (as I am now) and as a pinned Firefox page on my CalyxOS Fairphone 5. No offline access, but if I've got no data/wifi I should do something else. The BEST feature is catch up, where it brings together all the posts for the last n hours in ascending order so you can read top to bottom, and you can filter by poster, post type etc. 100% would recommend. #positivevibes #onegoodthingtoday
