All LTE smartwatches are supposed to receive the IXK1 update by now, but several regions, such as India, have not received the update yet and are still stuck on the HXB7 update that runs One UI 5 Watch which added a feature that allows you to see your workout status on Samsung televisions released on 2024.

In the coming weeks, we hope that the update will be released for such variants to finalize the rollout of One UI 6 Watch for the Galaxy Watch4 series released back on 2021. This is unusual, since it reminded us of some flagship devices that didn’t receive the One UI 6.0 update, such as the Galaxy Tab S8 and S9, until last February.

Galaxy Watch6 Manager update rolls out + Our Review

As Samsung is getting ready to release the One UI 6 Watch update, the Galaxy Watch6 Manager also gets an update. Previously, the Reddit users have reported that they’ve received the Galaxy Watch6 Manager update for the Galaxy Watch6 smartwatch, which is expected to get the new system update on November 25th, 2024 in Canada, which is seven days from now.

It looks like that Samsung continues the rollout of the new Watch6 Manager update. It actually reached our device, so we’ve decided to download and install the update manually through the About page. The download, which is 154 MB, went like this:

Afterwards, we are greeted with the new watch manager GUI, which aligns with our reports and the beta versions of the watch manager, along with the watch face screen giving you a banner that tells you about the One UI 6 Watch watchfaces:

So, we’ve downloaded all the featured watch faces:

• Spatial Number (Numbers, 22.67 MB): numbers constructed from 3D shapes give a sense of depth over a background that changes color as the second hand moves.
• Simple Digital (Simple, 8.62 MB): a clean, simple design that keeps you focused on the time. The seconds are displayed in a circle around the minutes.
• Ultra Info Band (Informative, 12.99 MB): This watch face puts your health data front and center, with more advanced complications than ever before. You can include up to 7 complications for the ultimate in info at a glance.

Now, let’s see a screenshot for each new watch face introduced with the manager update.

The watch manager in our case has been updated to the November 8th version, which is 2.2.13.24110851. We’ve downloaded the Galaxy Wearable app from Google Play Store.

Previously, the Reddit users have reported that they’ve received the Galaxy Watch6 Manager update for the Galaxy Watch6 smartwatch, which is expected to get the new system update on November 25th, 2024 in Canada, which is seven days from now.

It looks like that Samsung continues the rollout of the new Watch6 Manager update. It actually reached our device, so we’ve decided to download and install the update manually through the About page. The download, which is 154 MB, went like this:

Afterwards, we are greeted with the new watch manager GUI, which aligns with our reports and the beta versions of the watch manager, along with the watch face screen giving you a banner that tells you about the One UI 6 Watch watchfaces:

So, we’ve downloaded all the featured watch faces:

• Spatial Number (Numbers, 22.67 MB): numbers constructed from 3D shapes give a sense of depth over a background that changes color as the second hand moves.
• Simple Digital (Simple, 8.62 MB): a clean, simple design that keeps you focused on the time. The seconds are displayed in a circle around the minutes.
• Ultra Info Band (Informative, 12.99 MB): This watch face puts your health data front and center, with more advanced complications than ever before. You can include up to 7 complications for the ultimate in info at a glance.

Now, let’s see a screenshot for each new watch face introduced with the manager update.

The watch manager in our case has been updated to the November 8th version, which is 2.2.13.24110851. We’ve downloaded the Galaxy Wearable app from Google Play Store.

Galaxy Watch6 Manager gets an update

As Samsung is getting ready to release the One UI 6 Watch update, the Galaxy Watch6 Manager also gets an update. Apparently, the Reddit users have reported that they’ve received the Galaxy Watch6 Manager update for the Galaxy Watch6 smartwatch, which is expected to get the new system update on November 25th, 2024, which is ten days from now.

However, the Watch5 Manager hasn’t been updated yet, which aligns with how both the Watch5 and the Watch4 got the One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 update that was released yesterday, while Samsung also reiterated in the USA forums about how the Beta for the Watch6 has been concluded.

Going back as far as September 25th, Samsung has released a new version of the Galaxy Watch4 Manager that provided the One UI 6 Watch watchfaces to all the Galaxy Watch4 units that weren’t running the beta version of One UI 6 Watch. However, we’d like to reiterate that Sammy Fans and others might have misled users into thinking that the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch6 users could download the One UI 6 Watch watchfaces.

This version of the Galaxy Watch6 Manager, which is 2.2.13.24101651, provides a new GUI and three One UI 6 Watch watchfaces that consist of the following:

• Simple Digital: a clean, simple design that keeps you focused on the time. The seconds are displayed in a circle around the minutes.

This version of the watch manager is built on October 16th, 2024, which is two days before the eighth beta of the new operating system for the Watch6, which should be unveiled 10 days from now.

However, the new version can’t be currently downloaded from Google Play Store, because this version is currently rolling out to several countries soon. Those who have downloaded the Galaxy Watch6 plugin from Galaxy Store should expect a new update.
