Today’s my second day down at #OMSI running my electromagnet booth. I had a ton of fun yesterday showing kids and adults alike how electromagnets work, how that enables speakers & mics, how we record & play audio, and how we visualize waveforms. It’s so satisfying to see the hands-on “aha” moments.

I’m already in contact with someone about maybe bringing the display to a Girl Scout STEAM event later in the year.

Afterwards, we went to #Portland's #OMSI, where there's a cool #orca #whale exhibit. Turns out these things are big! It was a very cool examination of the speciation they've experienced and their habitats and cultural relevance.

Hey people living in #pdx did you know that #OMSI is having a month long studio #ghibli film festival?

These are some of the most wonderful films. To see them in the big screen is wonderful.

Most films are showing on multiple dates and times and they have a mix of subtitles with original voices (sub) and dubbed versions.
