    There are notable #Omacon sponsors like Jack Dorsey ("Block" + Bitcoin maniac), Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbaise) & #PeterSteinberger (OpenClaw grifter) who I think wouldn’t personally touch desktop Linux with a stick, but who have an interest to have AI deeply entrenched in it.

    Looking at the actual #Omarchy desktop, it heavily encourages users to build their own extensions via vibe coding. That’s the sort of vision the AI grifters want for the whole Linux ecosystem.

    @davidcelis @glyph It’s an easy mistake to assume the mini-oligarchs are sponsoring just #Omarchy. But they are donating to the #Omacon Foundation under DHH’s control, which will decide where to seed this whole pile of money in the ecosystem. See Brodie’s video in my quoted thread.
