I was in the Olympic National Park earlier in the week hiking/backpacking the Royal Basin trail. Two nights camping in one of the most beautiful places I've been. I got up earlier enough both mornings to catch the sunrises. The first photo is looking back from the Upper Basin towards the meadow and down the valley. The second one is from the way out from Royal Lake as the sun came over the ridge to shine on the mountains on the other side. -
