🖌️Buchkunst zur Othersides-Trilogie

Auch dieses #Ölbild habe ich vor langer Zeit gemalt. Es zeigt zum einen Meridia mit dem kleinen Teich und eines der Baumhäuser.
Der Turm in der Mitte ist der "Folterturm" von Cohedon, der im zweiten Band vorkommt.

I came across these two images, one a photo, the other a painting, and I was struck by the similarity of the two men separated by space and time! The photograph of the young man leaning against a houseboat was taken by UK Photographer Ian McDonald in Middlesbrough in 1973. The painting by current Martha’s Vineyard resident Heather Neill, titled The Bogcutter is a portrait of the artist’s son!
