  4. Just finished by & have mixed feelings. While I thoroughly enjoyed the story’s philosophical bent, I found its voice a bit odd as it was very similar to the voice used in Strout’s other novels, which were 1st person. was in 3rd person, so I think its voice should have been different.

    One novel of hers I feel was overlooked &, besides , is probably my favorite is . Highly recommend!
