  1. Just got my WCH-LinkE programmer. Finally, I can debug/program the #RVPC from #Olimex without a RPi Pico + voltage shifter + tons of cables. I also got a dev board with just the MCU used on the RVPC CH32V003. It is fun to program it in Assembly and C.

  2. Interesting Project: Turn Wired Ethernet into Wi-Fi HotSpot with just an ESP32-POE-ISO!

    olimex.wordpress.com/2026/06/0

This open-source project transforms an ESP32-POE or ESP32-POE-ISO into a compact Wi-Fi NAT router, allowing you to create a wireless hotspot from a wired Ethernet connection while powering everything via PoE.

  7. My neurologist advised that I should try EEG Neurofeedback. Unfortunately public health insurance doesn't cover it.

Well, I'm just going to DIY it. I just ordered an open source Neurofeedback device with some electrodes.

    olimex.com/Products/EEG/OpenEE

Everything costed me just under 200 €, which is roughly the cost of a single session. I'm by no means a trained professional, but I think I can make up for it with unlimited free sessions.

  12. Just got one of my more involved Home Assistant integrations online. We added a pressure transducer to monitor the water pressure for our pressure tank (where the well pump comes in). We have an Olimex PoE ESP32 there already and I decided to custom design and fabricate a PCB (first time ever) as a hat for an ADS1115 ADC and connectors.

It works! So we can now monitor our water pressure in excruciating real time precision. Just because.

  22. Olimex ESP32-P4-PC is an open source IoT board with a 400 MHz dual-core RISC-V chip and plenty of I/O for $29

Open hardware maker Olimex has introduced a new development board powered by an ESP32-P4 processor featuring a dual-core 400 MHz RISC-V processor, and a low-power 40 MHz RISC-V microcontroller core.

With just 768 KB of internal memory, 32MB of PSRAM, and 16MB of SPI flash storage, the Olimex ESP32-P4-PC is clearly not meant for use as a general purpose computer. But it’s a fairly versatile […]

  31. From the #DECtalk Mini github repository I commpiled with the #Pico-SDK today the RPi #RP2040 Pico version and changed it
    from USB serial 115.200 Baud
    to GPIO0/1-TTL-Serial 9600Baud.
Sounds fine on the left 3.5mm Audio channel
    (GPIO28/Pin 24) of a
    #Olimex RP2040-Pico-PC Board :)
