Sen oligarkiaverkostot nojaavat rahan ja vallan keskittämiseen, ja oikeutus haetaan "todellisen kansan" turvaamisesta Noita Toisia vastaan. Yhteiskunta ajautuu jatkuvaan poikkeustilaan, ja "vallan vastavoimat, kuten oppositio, tiede- ja kulttuuri-instituutiot, vapaat markkinat, riippumaton työväenliike ja ylikansalliset kansalaisliikkeet" leimataan epäkansalliseksi eliitiksi.

I was just reminded of the following quotation:

It's hyperbolic to suggest that our country is on the brink of self-destruction now but, in my short 74 yrs on earth in the county, it is the worst that I have seen it, including during the Vietnam years when mass demonstrations were the norm.

I expect the "minority" not currently in power to amass demonstrations much like those in the Vietnam years but those demonstrations should be much broader than then because the MAGA majority seeks to diminish the lives of many more people than were affected by that presumptuous & falsely premised "white man's war" against the #Vietnamese people now over 50 years ago.

Let's hope that those who choose to revolt from the #Theocracy & #Oligarghy that seems poised to overtake our country is as successful as the #PeaceDemonstrations back then.
