Today I have found these two old bad boys: A Nikon Coolpix S600 from 2008 and a 512MB Grundig MP3 player from maybe similar time or something like 20 years ago.

I was excepting old embarrassing photos and kick-ass music from the past.

Instead I got:

Camera: No SD card, missing battery charger.
MP3 Player: No music, instead TheRadio.cc Linux Lounge podcasts from 2012.

Yeah, that sucks... good old times are just gone.

My home desktop - 1 March 2000 - a Pentium 233 MMX.
The OS was Debian Linux - you can see a printed Tux near the keyboard.
No broadband connection, just a 56k modem.
Iomega Zip drive - so I could download stuff at Uni and bring it back home.
One year later, this became my first 24/7 server.

Watching this made me think back when the local video rental had a #NES area and I was lucky enough to actually have a #NES computer and was able to test a lot of games.
