An incredibly rare patch of old-growth forest with extremely well-established enchanter's nightshade fighting against other common woodland species and retaining a significant patch. Enchanter's nightshade, circaea lutetiana, is an ancient woodland indicator species, and in this specific case, indicates a soil that hasn't been disturbed for potentially over a millenia, enabling a soil E-horizon to form.
