I got a beautiful Galaxy S7 for 40 EUR. Absolutely mint. No flaws whatsoever. Like new. Even the battery is fine.

This 10 years old former Samsung top-phone serves as my house-and-garden-and-kitchen-device now. Take pictures with OpenCamera, store notes in Joplin, read my recipes from my local server. That sort of thing.

I don't even bother to get a SIM-card. WLAN ist perfectly enough for my case.

I installed all my favourite half a dozen apps and I am good to go.

I just love when I can give old stuff a second life.

Destiny has been with me for nearly a third of my life. Today hurts more than expected. As the 7th Book of Sorrow fittingly says: “Step confidently—forward into the unknown, beyond the present. There you will find yourself waiting.” We’ll be waiting for your return, Bungie.
