Probably going to delete this, but if you want to hear what kind of music I was working on ten years ago, here's a cover I did of Billy Boyd's The Last Goodbye from The Hobbit soundtrack.
I've been deleting my tracks off of Soundcloud and wanted to share this track one last time, even tho it's kind of cringe-y and I hear all the mistakes. But it's also kind of nice to hear how much I've improved since then.

People don't always know what I mean when I say I love "old music". Here's an example: this song was written 171 (not a typo) years ago, in 1854.
Every time I sing or listen to it, I feel awe at the sense of connection to someone so long ago, who was dealing with fear and hardships just as we are today.

I'm taking the risk of making a fool of myself and start putting out some of my old,mostly previously unpublished #music. I'll start with "Eta Cassiopeia": I made it in 1998/1999 after buying my very first synthesizers (Roland JP-8080 and Ensoniq ASR-X Pro). I previously only knew music trackers on the Amiga and PC, so "Eta Cassiopeia" is affected alot by the learning curve with the synths.

Production is not great and holds it back at times but is never truly egregious. The best tracks have almost a krautrock thing going at times, which is always welcome in my book.
The last few tracks lean into a more minimal goth aesthetic which is also pretty great, and the actual last track ties it all together in a really cool track that makes a great finale and is also arguably the one "don't miss" track from this band.

Felt like I should post some of my music. I did this for so long but it felt like beating my head against the wall to get anyone to listen to it and I've realized now that my autism was contributing to my demoralizing stage fright. I still think I throw down some ok tunes as a song writer/singer though. There's actually a full 12 song album that we never released. I just couldn't afford the mastering at the time. Life is weird. This feels like another lifetime ago.
