Suggested he drag his creaky old ass here while there's still a bit of jet fuel left and I give him a prepared Linux Laptop to take home instead of his old tower PC sitting under an old desk.
Undoubtedly he'll then complain it doesn't have MS Works on it 😩
Why did Windows have to get so thoroughly enshittified that even my dad, a lifelong Windows user, knows, without my doing, that it is better to switch to Linux than suffer Windows 11.
