Privileged to sign along side my wife today.

As we were finishing up a couple of ladies arrived at the table. One proudly declared she had signed the "Leave Canada Petition" and began spouting about "boots on our neck" and a seemingly outlandish number for "taxes stolen".
The other lady, her friend I believe, was very happy to sign the Remain in Canada Petition.

Now, I'm not always 100% up on the latest news, but I'm not aware of any approved petition that asks for Alberta to leave Canada. My meager search skills also produced nothing. This leaves me wondering...

What did "Ms. Leaver" sign and who was presenting it as a leave petition?

I wandered around a fantasy-themed event last weekend with my camera and my dog…and I made my poor dog wear a costume. Don’t worry, though, he loved all the attention it gave him. 🐾

#LeadByExample #Powwow will be held in #Strathmore from March 18 – 19, The powwow is to honour #KristianAyoungman - tragically murdered four years ago on March 17, 2019, on a highway near Strathmore. Ayoungman was an elite #hockeyPlayer with the #OkotoksBisons of the #HeritageJrB #hockeyLeague, a champion dancer, and an inspiring #leader to many youths in the community.

#CharacterIllustrator & artist Alyssa Koski was approached by #HeritageHousePublishing to #illustrate two books depicting less-represented #IndigenousCultures .
She has always sought out knowledge of #FirstNations , herself a member of the #KainaiNation through her grandmother Pauline Dempsey; who was born on #BloodReserve to Senator James Gladstone & Janie Healy Gladstone.

These #gar fossils, found in #Okotoks, #Alberta 🇨🇦 and displayed in the #RoyalTyrrellMuseum, represent a group of #fish that weathered the #extinction fairly well. #Gars are great survivors, with many species having been found alongside #dinosaurs, many - like these - at post-extinction sites, and many still plying the rivers of #NorthAmerica today.
