I've now been told these are beans not oil seed rape, however whatever they are, I liked the contrast.

One of the projects I am involved with at the moment is looking at the phenology/life history of cabbage stem flea beetle over summer. May start posting weekly/fortnightly updates as to numbers of different life stages in our soil samples.
Amazingly CSFB haven't been studied as much as they deserve in recent years, as up until recently control with insecticides was very effective!
