Yemeni drone attack on oil facilities deep inside Saudi Arabia!
The Yemeni armed forces have claimed responsibility for the drone attack on oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia and the eastern-to-western pipeline of the country.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, in a brief statement, announced that the Yemeni armed forces had targeted a number of sensitive sites and targets related to the supply and transportation of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to the city of Yanbu, using suicide drones.
According to the spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, this action was carried out in response to the violation of Yemeni airspace by drones belonging to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia claims that the attack was carried out using Iranian drones and by Iraqi resistance groups from the northern part of the country.

"Nearly half of U.S. oil comes from the Permian Basin in West #Texas and southeastern #NewMexico. The region generates more than $100 billion annually for the U.S. economy, and apparently, a whole lot of methane, too. A recent report from #MethaneSAT—a methane-sensing satellite that observed Earth from March 2024 to June 2025—found emissions from the Permian Basin to be nearly four times higher than the EPA’s official estimates."

"The move came during a case brought by #ClimateCampaigners against both Rosebank and the #JackdaGasField in the #NorthSea.
"At the Court of Session in Edinburgh Chris Pirie KC, for the government, accepted that assessments did not include 'the effects on climate of the combustion of oil and gas to be extracted from the fields.'
"Rosebank was given the green light on 27 September 2023 and Jackdaw on 1 June 2022, both by the previous #Conservative administration.
"As part of the consenting process, the government was required to consider #EnvironmentalImpact assessments about the fields.
"These took into account the impact on #ClimateChange of emissions caused by the process of extracting oil and gas but not of #GreenhouseGases which would be released when the #FossilFuels were eventually burned."
