My partner saw this play, “PUSH: Black Mamas Changing the Culture of Birth”, about disparities in medical care for black mothers a few months ago, found it super compelling, and has been putting a lot of work into getting it to come to OHSU.

The Oregon Nurses Association has officially voted to authorize a strike. while they aren't actually going to strike rn, after giving a 10-day notice to the hospital they could.

I'm on the consult waitlist for Bluebond-Langer for Bottom Surgery, but I'm doing research and it seems like the folks at OHSU might have trained under her? I think it might make sense to get on that wait-list since I honestly have a bigger support network in PDX, does anyone know folks who can attest to their work?

Some more about me: I live with #MEcfs, #CPTSD, and various other disabilities. I also have #dermatillomania. I'm pretty self-conscious about my picking scars, but I don't want them to get in the way of things I want to do - like showing off my #TopSurgery results. :D
My surgeon was Dr. Blair Peters at #OHSU, and they did /such/ a good job!! Their whole team was SO kind and accommodating of my needs, and I'm SO happy about how my chest turned out. I have /never/ felt this good about my body. 🥺❤️

The first free electric pedicab shuttle in the US opened in #Portland on 11/28/22.
Pre-COVID Oregon Health & Science Institute #OHSU operated a gas shuttle between parking, transit stops and the aerial tram on the south waterfront.
The e-pedicab seats 2 adults plus driver and is free to anyone with an OHSU badge. Looking for drivers.
According to #GoByBike operator, pedicabs have fewer seats than a shuttlebus, but make trips faster.
