Now I updated it with much more recent music I'm currently listening to.
The amazing thing is, this player also plays ogg files, which was not common at the time. It was the reason I bought it. I ripped all my CDs to ogg back then.
And it has a mic and a line-in to record and encode stuff. Nothing special for today's phones but amazing in 2004.

So I've been thinking about #OggVorbis loop point support in the #BeckettEngine.
Technically, it's not the Beckett engine itself but a slightly modified SoLoud that lets me find this data. Regardless, I added LOOP_START support and I can add LOOPSTART and LOOP...
Any thoughts? Tags I missed?

Ich habe als #Linux Bedienoberfläche #KDE / #Plasma und dazu passend das CD Programm #K3B installiert.Ich lege einfach eine Audio CD ins Laufwerk, öffne sie in K3B und kann dann die Stücke/Lieder einzeln oder als Verzeichnis in beliebigen Formaten, zum Beispiel #MP3, #Flac, #OggVorbis und andere irgendwohin kopieren.

@bagder #Rockbox was the only reason I bought an iPod Nano. Back in these days my whole music library in #oggvorbis could fit on it. 🎶

I'm surprised the audio codec Opus hasn't taken off more. It's a successor to Vorbis that is, as I understand it, comparable to an MP3 at 320 kbps at just 160 kbps and can go up to 510 kbps. It's been around since 2012, that's plenty of time for adoption.

Which #Wizarding #audio format is most free and #OpenSource? This list is from some of the options available for export in #Audacity #AudioEditor. If there are others, would be interested in hearing about them.

why can #VLC tell the current track name from an #OggVorbis stream, but #HTML5 cannot. This doesn't seem right. Certainly not fair! Or am I missing something…

@MagicLike #FLAC is lossless, and then you can always convert a FLAC to another #codec later. I usually go for #OggVorbis. -

Really been wishing I had a QuickLook plugin for ogg files lately; so far there are 2 potential projects I've found, but both would need updating:

Ci deve essere stato un errore di codifica o utilizza un codec che non è digeribile da peertube.
#Peertube non è nato per i formati audio, ci sta che non supporti tutto, per questo c'è #funkwhale ;)Inoltre nel medio periodo su #funkwhale è più semplice gestire e navigare su un ampio catalogo di canzoni rispetto a #peertube
