The Thames Water saga keeps rumbling on.

Now the water regulator - Ofwat - has objected to the creditors' outrageous attempts to keep the utility privatised.

And they're absolutely right. The public won't accept a deal which prioritises US hedge funds ahead of the households who pay for - and depend upon - our water system.

Time to put Thames Water out of its misery. We need special administration, followed by permanent public ownership.
