Of all the things from my past, the technology that I just cannot believe has completely disappeared is #ColdType pre-press technology – phototypesetting, pasteup, working on light tables to produce mechanicals for anything that had to be printed. These methods are just gone (while letterpress lives on). I made my living at #pasteup for several years. @rockymcrockerson Digital printing uses CMYK and tiny dots to blend colors. Offset printing uses plates for specific colors, and can be used for CMYK plus a spot color (Pantone) or spot gloss, or you can just use spot color.

Identify the specific Pantone ink colors used in the old cards. There are digital color finders that can help. Your file will need to have a channel/layer for each spot color.

The cost may be different than digital printing, likely more expensive.
