Ich habe da ein Problem - bislang ohne Lösung, die mir einen exorbitanten Zeitaufwand ersparen würde...

Ich habe unzählige #odt #Dokumente, die als #PDF exportiert und die PDFs zu einem großen PDF gemerged sind. Ich müsste einen Farbton (#hexadezimal 00ff00) durch einen anderen Farbton (z.B. 00cc00) ersetzen, weil ersterer am neuen #Beamer - egal welche #Bildeinstellung - zu grell und nicht lesbar ist.

Bisher müsste ich jedes odt in #zip umbenennen, dann im #Archiv die content.xml im #Texteditor öffnen, suchen & ersetzen, speichern und die zip-Datei wieder in odt umbenennen. Dann aus jeder neuen odt wieder ein pdf erstellen und diese mergen. Puh....

Irgendwie müsste sich das doch automatisieren lassen, mit einem Programm / Script / ... aber bislang habe ich nichts gefunden. Eine #KI kann ich auch mal noch befragen, aber ich befürchte das ist zu speziell.

Vielleicht jat jemand von euch trotzdem eine Idee, wie ich mit möglichst geringem Aufwand zum neuen Farbton im gemergeten PDF komme (unter #Linux).

I noticed today that #MSOffice Online now has an option to save files as #odt instead of #pttx. It made me wonder, can we change our files at work to open formats and still have the MS using colleagues use them properly? That would be a great step :awesome:!

Sadly, it seems not. Saving in MS Office breaks a lot of design in the files. Opening the pttx in @libreoffice works perfectly fine. Saving from there as odt does as well. But then MS Office considers the working odt file "corrupt", disallowing online view.

Seems like MS Office their implementation of open document standards are still lacking, so for anything requiring collaboration with MS Office users we're still stuck in proprietary formats. Sad :blobcatverysad:.

This ODT editorial is from last week but it's worth noting how strongly they come out against the coalition government's all-out war on clean vehicles and a cleaner environment.

Soon after taking office, National ditched the Clean Car Discount scheme, just as it was beginning to flip the fleet. Now they're killing the Clean Vehicle Standard to encourage the import of the dirtiest vehicles. They're willingly sacrificing NZ's environment, merely to line the pockets of a handful of vehicle importers.

As the ODT says, Luxon's government is "prioritising private interests over the nation's future."

It was a Thursday, I started my first paid IT jobs. It was a group start, 15 young fresh faced IT grads.

New Parliament House in Canberra was still lots of cranes. Stayed at Macquarie Hostel, initially. Built in 1969*, closed [and redeveloped] in the early naughties.

40 years! Did I say I feel really old.

National's watering down of methane limits has rightly attracted international condemnation for its ignorance and its complete disregard of climate change.

Naturally farmers are ecstatic that their right to pollute for another 25 years has been preserved. Sure, the climate is getting wilder and that might lead to an extinction event, one day. But short-term profits are more important. Right?

Wrong.

Today's ODT editorial describes National's dirty moves as "a loss for sensible policy making." On a positive note, they suggest this bad legislation is unlikely to survive a change of government.

Today's ODT editorial is entitled "Dim energy announcement" and it's a good one, critical of the Luxon government's backwards leap towards fossil fuels and their inability to come up with any viable plan.

Here's some shoddy reporting from the Oddity which a sub-editor should have picked up.

The story takes place in the Southland wops, near Tokanui, and involves a drink driver who rolled his ute, killing one passenger and injuring two others. This hearing focussed on name suppression being silly because everyone in town knows who the driver is.

Then comes the dodgy line.

"Crown prosecutor Mike Brownlie said locals already knowing the man’s name called into question the "utility" of suppression."

Utility? The reporter was confused enough to put the word in inverted commas, but ignored the fact that it makes no sense.

The word is "futility".

The ODT is spruiking crypto.

That's probably unfair. In fact they're just parroting the words of the executive chairman of a crypto exchange called Swyftx. He reckons we should let crypto rip through our Kiwisaver funds. But he would say that, wouldn't he.

There's some sort of crypto-bro conference happening in QT so we can expect a rash of these bullshit stories with dudes telling us we can all get rich simply by giving them money to invest in magical unicorns.
