Rozebírání prvního "traktoru" započalo, držte palce... #OculusQuest2 #controller

I've just realized after years of using Quest 2 that its straps are glued together rather than being sewn together. A velcro piece fell off when I was cleaning the strap.

I sewed it back manually. Ugly but holds well. I can't help but be surprised that they could use such a crappy solution on such an expensive gadget.

I tried SkyrimVR the first time since I left Windows behind, and whoa, I'm impressed! 🤩 Configuring it with the open sourcce ALVR launcher was more straightforward than with Meta's own app. The connection feels more error-proof too.

found a way to brick a quest
litterally just enable magnification from stock android menu

thats all

the adb is to unbrick

Also when you enable magnification the RGB lines quickly seperate as it crashes

Decorated my headset and covered the Facebook logo it's also unlocked to install apps like side quest and alvr and to test 3d modeling and the gene editing software which is being developed for both vr but also qt but was got for vulpine labs although it's not it's full purpose but rather half of it the other half was for fun

I can't wait for #VRheadsets to become so light it's like wearing glasses. #simracing is literally next level in #VR. Especially with the new #buttkicker But I can only wear the #oculusquest2 for so long before I'm fatigued. (I know some can wear them all day and you're lucky!)
Been running #VIR all weekend with the #porsche #gt4 in #iRacing on triples. Hopped into VR and after a few laps I was already negative delta by nearly a second. 🤷‍♂️

De verdad, lo mucho que disfruto bailando con el beat saber y la rabia que me da no poder jugar tanto ni tan seguido porque me destroza la cara.
Hoy han sido 2 o 3 de lady Gaga para probar su pack y he cerrado con Sweet child o' mine que ha estado muy chula y tiene unos movimientos muy fluídos.
No hay ni que decir que el pack de Queen terminará cayendo si o sí.

#Depression drains my motivation to do lots of things, but one thing I need to take control of is exercise. I was doing the #VR fitness thing regularly for a few months last year before getting kinda bored with it, but it was fun for a while. Not being the sporty type, I have to get creative with getting that heart rate up... So today I'm gonna fire up the #OculusQuest2 again and flail my arms and legs around to bad EDM (which is about all these fitness apps seem to offer).

Took apart the #Quest2 controller to fix the #joystickdrift problem. A few spritzes with canned air, then contact cleaner. Moved it around a bit and let it dry.
