Rich creamy body with smooth cocoa and vanilla notes and a toffee caramel finish. I must find more as the cold descends on MN once again.

After yesterday’s Hot Chocolate 15k (which I did not run, but did eat some treats), a two mile walk, and another two miles on yard work, it’s a chocolate theme day two!
#OctopiBrewing Belgian Chocolate Toffee Vanilla Stout has a curiously neutral nose but a beautiful creamy toffee chocolate richness and a tasty lasting finish.

Bonus #stoutSunday - local tavern had swapped out the #octopiBrewing for #PrairieAles Bomb! (exclamation point included).
Definitely NOT disappointed! This #imperialStout layers on espresso beans, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and ancho chili peppers.
I can’t say the chili shined through for me, but the espresso blending with the vanilla makes for a smooth, rich body and a perfect bitter balance (65). Seeking out more of this one soon!
