The interactive calculation sheet for #engineering, based on #emacs, #orgmode, #texlatex and #sympy is available in English [1], although the blog article is in German [2]. The template is also in English [3].
#Orgmode is so impressive, you could use #maxima, #octave, #gnuplot, #graphviz and almost 40 other languages with all their libraries right out of the box [4].

I plan on running Barkeep on Borderlands in the near future (like half a year from now, minimum, considering our pace) and also maybe try again with some #NSR campaign but for the love of me I don't know which system to choose.
BotB will probably go on Troika! as I want to finally test it. And then? #DURF #cairnrpg #Cairn2e #Octave or #TroikaRPG are my contenders for this experiment, somewhat more epic campaign in low power mid weirdness fantasy.

"CAS" generally stands for a "Computer Algebra System". It encompasses statistical packages and programming languages like #Maxima, #Octave, #R, #Scilab, #Sage, #KAlgebra, #Qalculate!, #Python, #Julia, #Lua. You can use them all concurrently in multiple #LabPlot's notebooks.
Please, see the attached screenshot. In this case, Python 3.12.3 is available in LabPlot on a Ubuntu machine.

I never directly worked on spacecraft, but did work on missiles and airplanes, guidance specifically. That was before I retired some years ago.
I used several #opensource packages. #Yorick, #perlpdl, #scilab, #octave, #R, #gnuplot, to name a few. Management permitting, if I was working specifically on spacecraft, I'd likely use the same tools. -
