A little stroll in the Menstrie Valley to see how the STUDIOVHF trees are doing. I was pleased to see that they are doing great! They were really enjoying the rain that I underestimated and I got soaken wet...
Also good to see that there was plenty of water in the reservoir as well!

I liked the patterns the high cirrus clouds made in the sky above the Ochil Hills in this shot. It almost looks like someone behind the hills has a huge spray-can of Cirrus Cloud White 🧐.

The Falkirk Wheel is a mechanical boat lift that was built for the Millennium. It replaced a flight of 11 locks that originally joined the Union Canal to the Forth & Clyde Canal. It is a very impressive structure, and well worth a visit.

This is a view towards a small hill called Ben Shee in the Ochils, which can be seen just right of the centre rising into the sky. The road is the track that leads past both Glendevon reservoirs; the reservoir in view is Lower Glendevon.

This is the spillway of Lower Glendevon Reservoir in the Ochils, taken on a very cold December day.
I especially liked the soft patterns of the falling water (captured using a slow shutter speed). These form a contrast with the hard ice that is being deposited on the grasses and rocks to the sides.
