Today Belgium is celebrating the fact it was liberated from #Nazi occupation 80 years ago. Shortly before that date the Germans shipped of their political prisoners to the death camps. This "glassing" is exactly the strategy that Russia has been pursuing in Ukraine, and it's a fucking war crime to destroy civilian structures - AND civilians - with the goal of giving urban combatants no place to hide. Israel has also been duplicating Russia's strategy of destroying or neutralizing civic infrastructure (power, water).
