Traditional & cultural keepers of own peoples - we act & speak differently than our #colonized relations. You can recognize it by our fierce will to be vocal against continued #ecocide & #CulturalGenocide on our ppls. Including trying to #assimilate us & trying to make our #distinct #languages #obselete / #extinct . I often feel alone here, on #VancouverIsland because there's no other #Teochew ppls here except for my family & about 16 others. Vancouver ppls sold out & might as well be white now.
