Completed #ReturnOfTheObraDinn tonight. Stellar game from start to finish - Pope does it again.
Even though I’ve solved all the fates of those aboard the #ObraDinn I still want to dig into anything released as additional backstory, because 100%ing the game still leaves a lot of threads unsolved!

I rarely play #games but I just finished #obradinn on #steam
Good stuff. 31.6h, 14/16 achievements.
I did have to have someone tell me I had something wrong at 4 left bc I couldn't tell if I was wrong or if I was supposed to leave the ship at that point.
Also, my motivation for playing this 6 year old game was a 2 year old review on the @heyriddleriddle #podcast
Now I can finish the review!

Je suis entrain de découvrir Return of The Obra Dinn.
Le jeu est vraiment très cool, mais je trouve que le son esthétiques joue un peu contre lui y a des moments (pour le moment relativement rare) et la DA fait qu'on a pas toujours bien sur de ce qu'on voit.
Je suis coincé pour la première fois dans le jeu où je sais pas trop où aller parce que je ne trouve plus de piste.
Le coup de la vache, je sais pas si je déteste ou si j'adore.

Trois ans que j'ai terminé The Return of the Obra Dinn, de Lucas Pope, le créateur de Papers Please.
Je pense que j'ai attendu assez, rejouons. Ce jeu est vraiment formidable (pour moi, il faut aimer), un très bon jeu d'enquête et de déduction, à l'ambiance magique et au gameplay vraiment unique.
Le seul soucis est que la rejouabilité est faible : j'ai voulu attendre quelques années pour "oublier" les réponses. Et même si je me souviens globalement de l'histoire, je retrouve le plaisir de chercher indices et de noter mes observations en vue de résoudre cela sans procéder à un brute force.

#AnimalWell has got a choke hole on me that hasn't happened since #ObraDinn. Some games just scratch the brain sooo well.

Bounced off of #ChantsOfSenaar. It's got that Obra Dinn that I enjoy but the games atmosphere and art style just never grabbed me, and apparently that was a big reason why I love #ObraDinn, #Tunic and #StrangeHorticulture.
Oh well. I can see why others absolutely love it though, so if you're in the market for one of those, don't let me feelings put you off.

Just tried The Case of the Golden Idol demo and I am definitely getting this game! If there is a Return of the Obra Dinn itch needs scratching, this is it!

Más allá de la primera impresión, Return of the #ObraDinn no es un juego retro: es un juego que construye algo nuevo sobre lo que hubo antes. Es, en otras palabras, una obra de arte.

One of the most engaging games recently, Return of the #ObraDinn. Beautifully done, with a surprise #Taiwan connection too.
What's more, it does take 8+ hours to complete and still more than 44% people did finish it! That speaks to how well put together it is - challenging but doable and makes stay because it's interesting!
It took me almost 11h, and even an hour before that I wasn't sure if I can do it, but if most people did, I might as well try!

I’m now 30 fates in and hoo boy, I only managed to guess-solve the last 3 because I whipped out a notepad and jotted a few things down.
Definitely using this approach now that the difficulty has ramped up. It seems like I’ve completed the “easy guesses.”
I’m loving this.

Are there any predecessors for the style of input/progress gating found in Return of the Obra Dinn and The Case of the Golden Idol?
In each, you have blanks requiring info about a given scene that you must fill in correctly, through deduction and other puzzle solving, in order to progress. (See pics for screenshots from each)

En train de jouer à The Return of the Obra Dinn et - bon déjà il est fantastique et j'adore l'ambiance, les visuels et la musique, mais j'ai fait une partie avec un pote en en visio, et c'est vachement fun aussi de se creuser la tete à deux !!
Bref, très bon jeu, jouez à #ObraDinn, et pourquoi pas avec des amis :p

I have solved 30 out of 60 identities in The Return of the Obra Dinn #ObraDinn. Great game. I set my game mode to IBM PC instead of Macintosh. I like the colour better. :)

Began playing The Return of Obra Dinn today. Interesting game. If you ever did these logic puzzles in school where it’s like “6 people went to a party. 4 were girls, 2 were boys. 3 wore glasses, 3 didn’t. 2 wore jeans.” And you had to get each person by name, what they wore, etc. #ObraDinn is mine that, but 60 people on a ship, with mystery and a bit of supernatural stuff. A lot of fun figuring it out. I’m about 2 hours in, which feels like maybe 1/10 of the way.
