#Qownnotes oder #Obisidian?
Seit 2 Wochen oder so nutze ich Qownnotes täglich. Das UI ist erstmal nicht einsteigerfreundlich, aber man lernt schnell, und außerdem ist es stark konfigurierbar. Soweit bin ich wirklich zufrieden, auch mit dem Sync via #Nextcloud, das funktioniert (manchmal gibt es dead locks, wenn eine Notiz auf mehreren Geräten offen ist)
Nun habe ich aber über Obisidian gelesen (aber nie getestet), das scheint mir den Vorteil zu haben, daß man Notizen verlinken kann und so eine Wissensdatenbank aufbauen kann. Das kann Qownnotes nicht, da gibt es nur Tags.
Da scheint Obisidian mächtiger zu sein, die Sache hat nur einen großen Nachteil: Es ist zwar kostenlos, aber steht unter einer proprietären Lizenz: obsidian.md/license
Nun bin ich nicht Richard Stallman, es darf auch kommerzielle Lizenzen geben. Aber im Zeitalter der #Enshittification habe ich dann doch das ungute Gefühl, daß nach einiger Zeit die Software immer weniger bieten wird.Was meint ihr?

Die populäre Erweiterung #NotebookNavigator für #Obisidian ist seit heute in der dritten Version verfügbar und bringt in Anlehnung an Apss wie #Ulysses und #Scrivener viele praktische Funktionen für das Schreiben mit.

Continuing my slow introduction to #Obisidian and this morning I ran across this nice "Note" callout. I love notes for little insider info trinkets throughout documentation. Or for placeholders for my weekender hobbies so I know where to begin next time.
Got to these "big decisions" at about 1 AM last night, so decided it was better to stop before doing something in a sleep deprived haze.

#OpenSource is a good call to avoid something similar in the future. It is not the case with #Obisidian, though. That's one of the reasons why I've adopted @joplinapp instead. -

#Obisidian and #Joplin are quite nice and migration is super easy. I am missing a notes quick-preview of the first 3 lines. Having hundreds of notes with title "Untitled" isn't really handy and I'm not going to change this habbit xD

I've been wanting to see what the #ObsidianMD hype is all about, but I just can't get over how the only proper sync is the one that uses their own infra. I would love it if I could point it at my own infrastructure for that.
Sure, I could use sync clients, but those don't integrate well with the mobile app.
Guess I'm sticking with #Joplin.

What #notetaking app has the best integration with handwritten notes? #Notion sucks at it, #Obisidian is not good at it, #Evernote seems decent. Are there any others? #productivity #note

@harcel I thought about this question for quite some time and tried different strategies because I wanted to find "the" perfect workflow. Here you can see an older version.
Since switching to #Zotero, I've found a simplified workthrough: I read and annotate most of my literature in Zotero, but print out key texts and annotate them by hand, then import the notes into #Obisidian to organize, link, and keep track of my knowledge.

Things that made 2022 great for me:
1. My new apartment - it's been my soul sanctuary
2. #Obisidian - helped me build my #PKM & task management system. Before, I was app hopping, searching for THE ONE. #ObsidianMD has been The One for me!
3. #Mastodon - Before, #Twitter was the only #SocialMedia I used regularly but reluctantly. Then I found Mastodon & it actually made me happy to talk to people.
