Sorry to hear that. I use #Obisidian extensively with Linux, Windows and Android and never had it corrupt a file. Not even with the syncing between multiple devices. Might a third party program or a hardware problem be the culprit?

Obsidian comes with a #recovery plugin. I’m not sure if it is enabled by default, but have a look at the docs: https://help.obsidian.md/Plugins/File+recovery

For feature completion…I’ve also found this an option in iOS18 Files app. This really solves a long standing issue with iCloud deleting files to save space, even though you may ALWAYS want certain files left untouched. Immediately useful to apps such as #Obisidian that are constantly trying to redownload files that have been temporarily removed.

Continuing my slow introduction to #Obisidian and this morning I ran across this nice "Note" callout. I love notes for little insider info trinkets throughout documentation. Or for placeholders for my weekender hobbies so I know where to begin next time.

Got to these "big decisions" at about 1 AM last night, so decided it was better to stop before doing something in a sleep deprived haze.

obsidianのiCloud同期の設定がうまくいかずに苦戦した理由がわかった、
初期設定の保存フォルダに「_」を使っていたため。
この記号を外して半角英文字のみにしたら、あっという間に解決した。

#OpenSource is a good call to avoid something similar in the future. It is not the case with #Obisidian, though. That's one of the reasons why I've adopted @joplinapp instead.
