What's up NZTA? This terse message appears halfway through the renewal process. I've tried three different browsers... same result.

NZTA scams are back on the menu. I rarely see any spam these days, but two of these have sneaked through within 24 hours.
However the lack of personalisation is obvious, and while the munted characters in the subject line -- "Fіnаl Ꭱemindеr∶ 48 ᕼo ᥙгѕ tο Ꭱеnew Υоuг Ꭱеցistrаtⅰoո" -- may help to avoid spam filters, they really do scream "SCAM!"

Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has opened submissions on increasing the speed limit on the Southern Motorway to 110km/h. The link to the feedback form is at the bottom of this page:

I have made my submission (against) and encourage anyone else who uses this road to have their say as well. I found it to be a relatively quick process.

Just got an email from #Flamingo scooters offering 20 mins riding credit for people that complete a survey. Sounds good so far, but the survey they link to is the #NZTA consultation on renewing the declaration of e-Scooters not being motor vehicles. You only get the 20 free mins if you agree that the declaration should be renewed (and take a screenshot of it)
I don't know - it feels somewhat wrong for them to be incentivising certain responses to public consultation. #NZ #Wellington

If you would like to make a submission, you can do so by either writing to [email protected] or doing the online survey (see the link below). PSA: Traffic light cameras.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency are taking over the monitoring of red-light cameras, and the issuing of infringements for traffic control offences at crossings and junctions, as well as other safety cameras and vehicles.
