    CW: NZPol motorway speed limits

    Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has opened submissions on increasing the speed limit on the Southern Motorway to 110km/h. The link to the feedback form is at the bottom of this page:

    I have made my submission (against) and encourage anyone else who uses this road to have their say as well. I found it to be a relatively quick process.

    PSA: Traffic light cameras.

    Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency are taking over the monitoring of red-light cameras, and the issuing of infringements for traffic control offences at crossings and junctions, as well as other safety cameras and vehicles. They have also noted that traffic control cameras at junctions and crossings can now monitor the speed of vehicles moving through the junction or crossing #RoadToZero #DriverSafety #RedLightCamera #SafetyCamera #Infringement
