Winston First really haven't through their cash for babies policy. Putting aside all the other, more obvious reasons why it's a bad idea, let's say it works as advertised. So there's a huge baby boom over the next 5-10 years, just like there was after WW2. Can't see any possible way that could go wrong ...
Of course I'm assuming WF and their supporters care what about happens after they die. Probably unwise when more evidence points to the opposite.

I spoke with a number of Asian parents at one of my kids football game on Saturday.
All of them are appalled and incredibly offended by Winston Peters' racist slurs and as long as #National and #Act refuse to rule out working with #NZFirst then expect a giant shift of Asian voters to NZ Labour in the upcoming #NZPol election.
The irony is, they seemed to be more offended by Luxon than they are of Peters.

Considering Winston Peters and #NZFirst were in coalition with #NZLabour when this #NZPol funded #Aotearoa #NewZealand Human Rights commission ad was produced, I expect Winston was already senile enough at this point to think this #TaikaWaititi ad was intended as a guide for #Racist FAQuaRs rather than satire.

If I was being generous I would blame dementia for Winston's erratic unhinged behaivour however the fact he's still not been disciplined by the coward in chief Chris Luxon tells me this appalling racism and immoral behaivour is acceptable to the #NZPol Prime Minister.

Narcissists, psychopaths and sociopaths always oppose 'regulation' whether regarding safety or non-narcissism-enabling guidelines for ethical conduct.
The recent unnecessary US outbreak of diarrhea, far right Brexity distortions of life saving human rights, and New Zealand's history of leaky houses are all examples of reason being overwritten by corrupt drives for narcissistic gain, usually only to the benefit of the already ultra-wealthy, or those who will step on anybody in a pathetic attempt to get into that ring-fenced group.
So, when right wing political movements like ACT or NZ First demonise 'regulation' , I know erosion and escalation of corruption follow, masked by calculated increased division of population.
I really do not fall for it, whichever country the 'efficiency and de-regulation' sham is being played. The shabby escalation of assets from the 99% to the 1% always follows when populations fall for it.

Sadly, it’s about far worse than that. Owning the #Woke is a sideshow to stop people questioning who the #NZFirst Party with #ReformUK advisors and PR agents are working for.
The amount of exposure of Reform’s links to dark money funders using laundered funds from tax havens to push through corrupt policies to further enrich the oligarchs should be ringing alarm bells here in NZ.
The fact NZ First are even taking advice from these crooks should have every NZer questioning who are they actually destroying #Aotearoa #NewZealand for.

How many more years do you think Winston Peters has left to worry about #Woke scientists, economists, environmentalists and children annoying him with tales of the devastating consequences of the #ClimateChange we're already facing becoming a real time existential threat?

CW: NZPol - NZFirst pledges $1bn gift to fossil industry
Oil & gas multinationals have little interest in NZ. Exploration is costly and decades of industry testing & drilling have led to no significant discoveries. But Dopey First think they've found a way to change that.
Instead of leaving the risks of exploration to oil companies, NZ First will transfer the risk to the NZ taxpayer. Winston announced that they'll sink a billion dollars into a survey of offshore oil and gas reserves.
Waffling on as if the climate crisis doesn't exist, doddery grandad reckons it'll only take six years to identify those vast (but so far invisible) tracts of fossil fuels which have eluded everyone and go into production.
Six years sounds far too quick and donating a billion dollars to offshore entities chasing filthy fossil dreams doesn't feel like an election winner to me.
Oh, in today's speech Winston also described Labour as "far left", showing how far removed he has become from reality.
Lie down with cookers... get up with fleas. Or something like that.

It is worth noting the #NZPol coalition of corruption’s strong connections to the US #AtlasNetwork #HeritageFoundation and its #Project2025 which oppose renewable energy, alternative modes of transportation and of course any alternative sexual orientation.
Winston Peters and #NZFirst didn’t suddenly become obsessed with people’s genitalia and sexual orientation without being instructed by their political masters. Also never let NZF’s strong alliance with #ReformUK ever be forgotten.

Shane Jones spoke to 250 party faithful in Oamaru yesterday, promising that NZ First would abolish the Waitangi Tribunal, scrap regional councils and take the country out of ‘‘climate change hysteria’’.
Within 12 hours Oamaru flooded because of climate change.

Today's piggie is Wellington-based NZFirst list MP and former Wellington mayor Andy Foster. He's claiming a taxpayer subsidy of $36,400 every year for a home he's owned since 2,000. He hasn't reported any mortgage on the property.
With a mortgage-free property, Foster is struggling on an MP's salary of only $181,200 per year.

Stuff today has an honest headline announcing Cocurollo's candidacy.
"NZ First selects anti-fluoride mayor as Whangārei candidate"
He's also involved in some dodgy scheme in Northland to turn plastic into diesel by burning it. Sounds kosher.
In NZFirst terms, this is likely the 'best and brightest' they can come up with because their gene pool is pretty shallow and filled with cookers. If you're not unhinged, you're not on the team.

CW: National vs NZFirst -- the scrapping continues
With National sagging in the polls and haemorrhaging voters to NZFirst, the scrap between Luxon and Peters consumes a lot of oxygen.
Former National Minister Chris Finlayson doesn't believe Luxon's coalition will make it as far as November. He calls NZ First "an excrescence." I looked it up -- it's warts and pimples.
"... I think the best thing the National Party can do is try and extricate themselves from this grisly coalition and declare war on New Zealand First…"
NZ's right wing coalition is looking increasingly fragile.

All Blacks traditionally tend to vote National. However former AB captain Taine Randell has been selected as the Tukituki (Hawke’s Bay) candidate for NZ First. The seat is currently held by National.
Imagine deciding to run for parliament and concluding that Winston and Shane provided the best alignment to your values.
