Former National Minister Chris Finlayson doesn't believe Luxon's coalition will make it as far as November. He calls NZ First "an excrescence." I looked it up -- it's warts and pimples.

Shane Jones arrived wearing a rather gay powder puff blue suit, surely an unspoken symbol of his ongoing solidarity with rainbow people.
The atmosphere in the audience gave off a tangy mix of Grecian 2000 masking unjustified disappointment, tinged with the lightly burnt odour of unfulfilled dreams.
While there was none of that woke masking nonsense and only a single cooker wore a Maga hat, the average IQ in the room could easily be defined by the fact that these people have a shared belief that Shane Jones is some sort of gifted thinker.

Plus Shane Jones threw "an $8 million loan" to Dynes, to advance plans for an inland port at Mosgiel, competing with Calder Stewart's already fully-funded inland port at Milton.
For certain NZ politicians, corruption is a way of life. It's just how things are done.

NZ First list MP Tanya Unkovich is resigning her seat in Parliament "to focus on her work in the private sector."

Apparently she was "a life and business coach" before entering parliament. It's a tribute to her dedication to public service that she's managed to grab a decent salary for two years whilst achieving absolutely nothing.

This government’s moving some of the country forwards and some of the country backwards simultaneously. Quite the observation by Winston. The increasing economic and social divide in the centre represents the growing inequality between the haves and have nots. -
Winston Peters is at the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is in attendance & issued a "global SOS to Save Our Seas" from rising sea levels, calling it a "crisis entirely of humanity's making" and "a worldwide catastrophe putting this Pacific paradise in peril".
Winston is the *only* climate denier in the room. The cooker coalition has embarrassed NZ on the world stage, yet again.

Our associate health minister Casey Costello is a bobble-headed clown.
RNZ has discovered that in 2017, Philip Morris targeted NZFirst (the weakest link) seeking favourable terms for its heated tobacco products. Former Taxpayers Union chair Costello duly obliged, setting NZ's smokefree plans back by years.
Like most of the coalition cabinet, Costello is out of her depth and up to her armpits in corruption.

Shane Jones is a blustering fool. In a May meeting with his seafood industry mates, Jones demeaned High Court Judge Cheryl Gwyn, who has awarded Customary Marine Titles to Māori. Jones called her a “Communist Judge”.
The Cabinet Manual states that ministers should not express any views... reflecting adversely on the impartiality, personal views, or ability of any judge.
Luxon "doesn’t believe it is a Cabinet Manual matter".
