In this case, you don't have to be a #US #citizen to get a US #amateurradio license, but depending on where you're from, your #US license may not be accepted for credit toward a license in your home country. For example, #Aotearoa only has one license grade and it is equivalent to #US #extraclass. You'll have to sit for an exam in #newzealand if you have #General or #technician class licenses.
