Beautiful Fall day for a #hike. Can't believe the leaves are turning already.
Gotta hand it to #NYStateParks, as much as it sucks to have to reserve a spot to go for a day hike, it really does help the crowding. Keeps the parks accessible to everyone. No waiting in traffic, no nonsense. Barely saw anyone, just the way it should be when trying to escape the city for a bit.

Loons at night. I'm used to hearing loons in the Adirondacks but was pleasantly surprised to hear these relaxing sounds on the St. Lawrence.
