  1. I wanted to share that I'm running some special online sessions in NVivo training. They are 2 hours, twice a week, and run for 4 weeks. Maximum of 10 people - so small numbers.

The 4 training sessions are recorded and accessible for up to 8 weeks after the course, and the other 4 sessions are basically a Zoom room where everyone comes together and has an opportunity to work on their own data.

The aim is that people can walk away with a clear idea on how to use and apply NVivo for their data analysis.

Here is a link to the sessions:

  3. Earlier this week, I learned from a student about this serious shortcoming in NVivo. :-(

  4. Follow up from #accessibility testing NVivo/Dedoose/atlas.ti. Of the 3, #Nvivo is good on navigation but less on visual, #Dedoose is middling at best, but #atlasti is clearly built with #accessibility in mind top to bottom, with sizing on everything easily adjustable, easy keyboard controls and more. Plus they document and share their commitment and progress. #disability atlasti.com/legal/atlas-ti-acc

  15. I realized I didn't introduce myself here on Mastodon! 👋

I'm a librarian at the #UniversityOfCalgary. I work with #data and #NVivo and am interested in #EmergingTechnologies. I'm the institutional representative for the Data Liberation Initiative #DLI.

Outside of work I'm a #cyclist (mostly road, some gravel and fat), and I also #run to stay fit for the #cycling. Family man with 2 small dogs.

    That oughta do it? 😀
